Having been a reenactor many years ago I have to say (and apologies to anyone here who's involved) to my mind, most reenactors really don't look the part. You can get picky about uniform, drill etc...but it ain't what you wear it's the way that you wear it. Plus, too many fat and too many old blokes. I imagine the period to be very different to how it looks at these things. However, I recently found this pic online and I have to say, this geezer looks the bee's knees as far as I'm concerned. It was tagged on facebook as a friend of mine who's actually an officer of light infantry. The tag was removed so I'm not sure but congrats to Martin if it is you. Stance, bearing, kit - could have come out of a Detaille painting. Magnifique!
