The picture I have is actually dark grey rather than black. Drop me an e-mail with an address I can send an attachment to as the file is 25Mb in size....

            • Uniforms of Prussian Fusiliers

I am working on a modelling project at the moment. Has anyone pictures/ images of the uniforms worn by Prussian Fusiliers between 1813-1815?

                • Excuse me sir, wasnt aware of that

Maybe one of the moderators is so kind to move my thread in its proper place...

                  ...

The Prussian Fusiliers wore the same uniform as the line infantry?

                  I found these:

Fusiliers of the "1. Garde-Regiment zu Fu"

The colours of the trousers were grey or blue?

                  • Now U are talking about the Guard regiment in the photo above,
big difference between a regular Fusilier and the Guard. Just so U know.

                    • Yes, I know, but on the one picture you see grey trousers and on the other blue trousers.

However, there was no difference between musketeer and fusilier in terms of uniform in the non-guard regiments?

The difference is the leather work - Fusiliers wore black & musketeers wore white; plus the shako plate/cockade.
