I myself did not at once understand in those gallery - how to enlarge the image to a good resolution (first, click on the image and open it a new window, then right click the opened file -"view image"), and I had doubts that everyone would sort out this . I did not dare to upload the enlarged pictures without permission of the author of the gallery. You have posted at once the enlarged pictures! Thank you!
If You'll meet any new picture of the 3rd DG (You have already posted some pictures - the uniform of the 3rd DG on this forum), please, post it!
Btw, have You seen scenic paintings depicting the 3rd DG in the Peninsula war?
I found a beautiful Hillingford's picture "6th Dragoon Guards in Spain",
https://twitter.com/Britishbattles/s...25734708113408
but I haven't met any painting with the 3rd DG in the Peninsula war, except the deviant art. Sorry if there are none...
Sincerely,
Paul
Though, here's the picture that you have in the link though more expansive

All human ills he can subdue,
Or with a bauble or medal
Can win mans heart for you;
And many a blessing know to stew
To make a megloamaniac bright;
Give honour to the dainty Corse,
The Pixie is a little shite.

Paul
I expected there is nothing of the art of the 3rd DGs in the Peninsula, but I was hoping that it is. I hope the modern artists will not forget the 3rd DGs and the Peninsula War.
I found the picture of Norie Orlando (I was mistaken in the name of artist) of the 6th DGs in the Peninsula in a large resolution on the site:

I found the picture of the 3rd dragoon guards officer (a few years before the war in the Peninsula)
Sincerely,
Paul

British Honorable Artillery Company Yager
New here----- so if not doing this right please excuse.
I am looking for information on the uniform of the Honorable Artillery Company Yager unit during the Napoleonic wars. I have a 54 mm figure which I would like to finish but only limited information on uniform;
"dark green single breasted without skirts jacket, covered buttons, mohair cord(?), Trousers green with mohair down sides (?color), Austrian Knot in front (?color), and cap was black beaver (?black I assure). Any facing colors? or lace? Like a Baker rifle? Were they in any action or just a home unit?

The mohair and lace would be black and the Hungarian knot and buttons black also. I would presume that the facings would be red.
All I have of them is this 'black and white' part of a larger picture depicting them taking part in an army shooting contest.
I'll have a delve around some more and see what I can come up with. Give me a few days. (unless that is, someone else has the info, which isn't likely)‘Tis said his form is tiny, yet

You CorpusGuy, are responsible for getting me so intrigued about the HAC Yager, that I am now firmly on the path of finding out more about them myself and starting up a library on Yeomanry and Militia units of the period.

Dear Mr B******,
Thank you very much for your email of 22 April. You are correct in the rifle green and black mohair trim. There were no colour facings as far as I know. By copy of this email, I will ask my uniforms expert to reply properly to you…
Yours sincerely,
Justine Taylor

Please Note:
Though I am in correspondence with a gentleman who is making a statuette of a Yeager for the regiment and sending me 'privilaged' pictorial information, under a gentleman's agreement, I will only be able to post written information on uniform details via a pm.

Im thinking about starting modelling and im doing research on the 15e régiment de voltigeurs de la Garde impériale which was a very late war french garde unit. Could you folk link an example of what the regiment's flag would have looked like? Thanks
