    Part1

3 years ago I bought some ww2 medals + documents.
He had more documents and I still regret that I did not buy all
    Documents he had.

What brought my attention was Polish Eagle on one the medals.
When I looked through all this stuff I was amazed.

    Letís start with documents

    Document #1

    Document #2

As far as I understood Polish he ( Michael ) sent greetings to
    His relative.

    Document #3

    Side 1

    Side 2

    Document #4

Ribbon bar with 2 metal straps.
    One says Monte Cassino

    Medals

    Monte Cassino Cross

Notice "May" was written on Polish "MAJ", no in
    English "May".
So it is the Polish medal.

    Part 2

    The rest of medals

    Medal 02

    Medal 03

    Medal 04

    Мedal 05

    My conclusion is :
All medals belong to the same man.
    Michael Stomal.
He fought in Polish Anders Army and
after the war he did not return to the Poland,
    or escaped from there.
The bottom line in 1947 he sent a post card from London.

Later he moved to USA and may be he
    even served in American Army.
There is a picture where a man looking like
    Stomal shoot in American uniform.
However this picture may have nothing to do with
    the rest of collection.

Somewhere near 1961 he had died in USA.

Well, the story of the soldier.

Well, the story of the soldier.
The second medal down is probably the 39/45 star because it is followed by another star designating the area he fought in to receive the 39/45. Not sure of the area for the second star could possibly be Italy, and of course the first one being the defence medal for service in the U.K. lcm1 Now I see more medals have been added, which puts my directions out of kilter. I believe the bottom three are the ones I spoke about. Idid notice one of the fresh ones was the Victory medal (with the green ribbon) lcm1
