    Soldiers from the elite U.S. Army Drill Team, from Andrews Air Force Base, Md., toss their bayonet-tipped 1903 Springfield rifles into the air during one of their breathtaking routines. When not performing for the president or visiting dignitaries and heads of state, the Drill Team travels extensively, acting as "good-will ambassadors" for the Army and participating in major military and civic functions.
