    BAGHDAD, IQ - First Lt. William Zielinski, a Fairfield, Conn., native, who serves as a platoon leader for the Reconnaissance Platoon, 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment "Gimlets," 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Multi-National Division -Baghdad, goes over notes April 6 for an upcoming patrol in Abu Ghraib, west of Baghdad, with Capt.     CAMP VICTORY, IQ - Pfc. Kristen George, from Needles, Calif., tactical assault command, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, provides security for key leaders visiting Yusifiyah, April 10. Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch, commander of Multi-National Division Center, was in Yusifiyah to discuss plans for Operation Marne Piledriver, the divisions first major operation devoted primarily to capacity building. The main phase of the operation kicked off, April 15.

(April 17, 2008) The combat tactical vehicle technology demonstrator (CTV-TD) is undergoing automotive testing at the Nevada Automotive test Center (NATC) in Carson City. Built under contract for the Office of Naval Research, the CTV-TD is a test bed for the joint light tactical vehicle family of vehicles.
