    OxyContin withdrawal

I haven't had any Oxynorm for 48 hours now, I'm struggling but have kept up with my heart meds to prevent problems from the withdrawal, I'm also on gabapentin which is a nerve block and anti epileptic drug. This has helped stop my limbs from convulsing and the stomach cramps too.

            Let me start again.
I have had to stop my beta blockers prior to a nuclear scan in a few days, the beta blocker was helping with slowing down the heart rate and containing the palpitations. My doctor has insisted that I carry on with a withdrawal plan instead of cold turkey to prevent me having another cardiac episode. So I'm now on 40mg a day and plan to reduce it to 30mg by the weekend

Hmm... no posts here from Queensman for 18 months. Does not sound good, tho there has been activity on this account as recently as last August.

I had knee surgery last October. When the nerve block bag ran out four days later i sucked it up & did without painkiller other than a evening Ibuprofen or Advil for sleep and the swelling. Quit those two months later. The pain seemed a viable alternative to screwing my body with meds.

Thanks for your concern..this medication was stopped by myself for a while, however it truly is the only pain killer that works. I have lowered my dose to 30mg daily with 4×5mg capsules for breakthrough pain relief if needed.

Last October I had a major meltdown and made an interrupted attempt to finish my life.
what followed was 3 months on a physciatric ward having therapy. While in hospital appx £10,000 was fraudulently taken my account and spent on an online casino. As a result I came close to losing my house, however I had already put a limit on my cards set at £1 because of a facility drop of £8,000 left me overdrawn by appx £1,000. I thought I was in control but the bank said otherwise and despite my protest they took my balance of £7,000 and another £1,000 putting me into debt. I protested but i lucked out by having the wicked witch from the east as my advisor. She said I could not delay or cancel the added agreement of reducing my mortgage by an extra £8,000 per year. I explained that the bank had misled me into believing I was in control. I was informed that my cards couldn't be used because I was now in arrears.
so you can imagine my surprise when finding out the bank authorised all transactions to this Cassini.
my argument is if the bank had been doing it's job properly then no trnsctions could or would be authorised because there were no funds. I'm still in dispute and was offered £5.50 for a direct debit I had cancelled. I have now spoken to the financial conduct authority who are very shocked at the way the bank has acted. I have been told that when they take action the penalty to the bank will be in the hundreds of thousands and the bank may offer to credit my mortgage so it's over, on top of this will be compensation for the alarm and distress.
You may wonder what this has to do with my original post. It has slowed down my treatment for ptsd and caused no end of problems.
I thought that nothing else could cause any more misery this year. But I was wrong. I've always believed that I have been living on borrowed time ever since I heard my first shots and explosions at the age of 18.
I wish that were the case but an Authority higher than I dropped a live grenade onto my lap.
I was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease this week and told it could kill me within 8 years.
There is the saying that it never rains but it pours.

I am now going to try visit relatives all over the USA and I have been invited to join a canoe journey in Canada sponsored by the British mod and the Canadian equivalent

I don't know about the UK, but under US law the fraudulent bank charge would be swiftly settled by most banks.

A suicidal vet my friends have been working with recently completed a 90 day treatment program at the Battlecreek Michigan VA facility. Unfortunately the day he returned home he found his wife had taken the child and run off with his cousin. Back to square one for the folks helping him.
