  • Revolutionary War battle flags to be displayed in Williamsburg

    http://content.hamptonroads.com/stor...4846&ran=13924

Four Revolutionary War battle flags claimed as trophies by the British are heading back to Virginia. All flags were captured in battle by Lt. Col. Banastre Tarleton.
    Including this one:

The Connecticut cavalry regiment flag is the earliest surviving American flag with 13 red and white stripes. On July 2, 1779, the 24-year-old Tarleton led his cavalry unit, known as the Green Dragoons, in a surprise attack on the Continental Army's 2nd Light Dragoons, a Connecticut regiment also known as Sheldon's Dragoons, at Bedford/Pound Ridge, NY.

Maybe - but you wouldnt have the French to help you out this time
Goering: What can I do for you?

Moelders: Upgraded engines for my Bf 109s.

                            Galland:
                            A squadron of Spitfires.

It is said that Goering then lost his temper.
