New Site - PLEASE READ

Hello All,
My name is Ashley and I am the one that moved the forum to its new hosting location. This was done for security reasons and try to keep the forum from going down every other day. I understand that the new forum looks very different from the old one but I promise almost everything you had before you still have it might just be in a different place.

Items that are gone due to a limitation of the new hosting/ forum update:
- Awards
- Flags

As I was going thought your posts I was able to fix a lot fo the issues you were listing. Below is kind of a running list of issues an what is fixed and what I am still working on.

Items that I have fixed from your comments:
- Smilie are now working.
- Color/Theme changes
- Signature are now showing up. (Here is how to edit them https://screencast.com/t/OJHzzhiV1)
- Ranking is now showing up.
- Private messaging is now working.

Some issues I am still working on are:
- Missing items from the Calendar
- Like button the posts is giving an error.

One other note I have seen a lot is theme/color related items. I know this is important to all of you but at the moment the most important thing was getting you back a functioning forum with as many features I can get you back from before.

Theme/color is something we can change but it the moment I do not have the time and resources to fix all of the issue and design the site. I did do some theme updates yesterday but it is very time consuming. Please just be patient with the forum as we get it back to as close as I can to what you had before.

If anyone has any issues that they are running in to please let me know in the post below. Please give me as much detail as possible .

If a nations leader were truly religious then we in the west would be as those in the middle east.

Our leaders play to the crowds, they will say anything to remain in power, they will tell a religious electorate that they are godly and a secular electorate that they are secular.

We never hear of any European leader banging on about how religious they are and that is simply because Europe is secular, we would be deeply concerned if one of our PM's went all Bush on us, conversely we often hear US leaders spouting off religious guff precisely because their electorate is perceived to be religious.

They are chameleons that suit their coat to their surroundings.

At the end of the day they are power hungry egotists, nothing more and nothing less.

Hey wait a minute, I'm a UKIP voter because we want to stop the mass immigration of Jesus-rejecting heathens into Britain, how can that be a bad thing?
We object to our taxes paying to feed, clothe, house and medcare immigrants instead of looking after our own people, plus they're overloading our social infrastructure, and at the end of the day they're not the least bit grateful-

[Quran 9.123, 5.51]- "..fight those of the infidels who are near to you and let them find in you hardness....do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends"

UKIP believe we should look after our own people first, and we know Jesus has got our backs so you'd better argue it out with him when you meet him..-
      Jesus said-
"It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs....do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces" (Matt 15:26,Matt 7:6)

Yes, but Trump isn't like that, he's already a powerful billionnaire and the US President so he doesn't need to bow and scrape to anybody, he just does things his way, and if people don't like it, too bad..
And as he's a Christian he knows the Bible has got his back in everything he does to make America great again, what a man!

        • Trump is not renown for his Christianity.
He’s been reported to have been a Catholic, a member of the Dutch Reformed Church, a Presbyterian and he married his third wife in an Episcopalian church.

There was no France and no French army at this time. Charles ruled directly over the territory of the Frankish Carolingian clan which covered Northern France to the Somme but also most of what is now Belgium and Luxembourg and the lower Netherlands. He had become "Mayor of the Palace" which meant war leader of the Franks but substantial parts of modern France, such as Aquitaine were still independent entities. So "French people" is also an anachronism. Charles' victory at Tours paved the way for a united France under his grandson Charlemagne.
Charles' army contained Austrasian's (Eastern Franks). The Belgian historian Julius Emil De Vos, in his 1920 history of Belgium claims Charles as from Flanders and therefore Belgian! Although Charles' earliest campaigns to oust his grandmother and gain control were in Flanders this is plainly a piece of chauvinism but no more misplaced than labeling him French either.

Charles pushed an Moorish army out of what is today France but to claim that he kicked the Muslims out of Europe is a ludicrous hyperbole. Iberia is in Europe and so are Greece and the Balkans

I wouldn't go by all you read in wikipedia, old son.

The irony is that Germanic war-bands had previously invaded North Africa from the Iberian peninsula ( let's repeat- there was no Spain) so that when Arab generals led an army from what is now Morocco across the Strait to topple the Kingdom of the Visigoths- who themselves were invaders from the north- their force may well have included troops of Germanic, Roman and Greek origin- all previous settlers along the North African iitoral, as well as from Berber tribes who in terms of ethnicity were possibly little removed from the original Iberians across the water, certainly in the south. Behind the Arab and Visigoth generals the men of their armies may all have been 2nd cousins.

The image you post of 'El Ultimo Suspiro del Moro', showing the sultan and his entourage as extremely dark of skin is a racially dubious 'Romantic' image of the C19th, perpetuating the myth that the Moors were a homogenous group from sub-Saharan Africa.

By about 1000, almost half of the original Christian population had converted to Islam. Continuing interbreeding between the two groups over the next 500 years meant that ultimately there may have been very little to distinguish between the two physically. Religion was the key identifier. It is said Al Mansur, the last great Caliph of Cordoba who died in 1002, had red hair from his mother and so would dye his hair black to appear more 'Arab.'

After they got rid of the muslim scroungers, the great Spanish people went on to do fantastic things such as spreading Christianity to the New World..

Where do you get your ideas from? The Swedish crusaders never met a muslim - they went North and East and butchered Slav peasants who weren't Christian (or at least not their definition of Christian) The Swedes who joined the SS thought they were following the same tradition.
