One of my friends has not posted since April. I called his place of work.

Sad to report that John James has passed away. A good man.

    RIP Buddy.

He had some health problems for sometime. He didn't tell me a lot but sugar was a big problem that had him worried.

                  .

John was one of the few members I had actually met and had breakfast with.

HPJ, where did you get the number for the scale house in Gallup? I looked but the sites I saw required fees and registration.

NM Department of Transportation they had a break down of the different districts with phone # Gallup is District 1. Fellow picked up, I told him the who and what a he gave me that little bit of info. He didn't sound that interested in providing more so I took what I got.

I liked John. We did a lot of PM's when he was on the night shift. That was usually about the time I was getting my first cup. Seemed like a class guy.

Definitely a great guy. I wish I been able to stop there more often. He was usually sleeping when I would go through.

Wha?....Wow. Does he have family that we could at least send a note or condolence to, or would that be a bit too much at the moment?
...how useless it was to struggle against fortune, this being the burden of wisdom which the ages had bequeathed to him.
