I may not have fully appreciated him before, but I'd want Miller to play goal for my favorite team anytime. Deeply impressed with his play during these games.

What an awesome game. The US never gave up, but in the end it's a kid from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia (where? HA, 5 km from my door!) who brought the nation to its' feet.

(The nation's answering machines have been on for the last couple of hours, but Canada is now taking phone calls again!)

There is no doubt after that, the two best teams played for the gold.

It could have gone either way! A round of Timmies for the continent!

Now will this great Olympic contest translate to more NHL viewers? That is what this sport needs more than anything else.

The US team played very well indeed, worthy opponents.

This is the kind of play, as opposed to the All-Star game, that will bring in fans.

Fast paced, hard hitting, and low scoring nail biters bring out the best in the sport.

It would be nice if the NHL would adopt the larger playing area. I might start watching again if they did.
