I really enjoyed watching him when I was a young boy.

Sorry to hear of Meadowlark's passing. I truly enjoyed watching him and the other Globetrotters of that era. I wish I had been able to see them in person rather than on TV.

    Regards,

I saw them once in person. It was great. They came to the little town I lived in and the National Guard Armory was packed. They first has a donkey basketball game in which local big-wigs played basketball and then after they cleaned the court off they had the globetrotters play. Meadowlark and Curly were my favorites

I saw him 2 or 3 times in Raleigh in the late 70s... had a blast every time. They were amazing. Curly was my favorite too.
