NLRB rules that Northwestern football players are employees and not student-athletes and can form a union.

I'm good with it. Mainly due to the gross imbalance between the way athletes and coaches are treated by the NCAA.

I would love to see the athletes be treated more like actual students. Though I wonder how a lot of them will feel if that becomes a reality?

    Regards,

I know everyone says that student-athletes should be happy receiving a free education but it has never made any sense to me that because you receive a free education you don't get the same rights that other students get. I am not saying a Union is the answer but the student-athletes need to start putting their foot down and saying enough is enough. The NCAA has run roughshod over student-athletes ruining careers over the dumbest infractions yet the schools and coaches do nothing to defend their "kids".
