    As a lifelong Orioles fan and Maryland native this is sad news to hear.

          One of my favorite computer games of all time was Earl Weaver's Baseball game.

            I'd pay money to see the rant he would put on if he was denied entry through the Pearly Gates. His epic fits were worth the cost of admission by themselves! Sorry to see you go Earl!

              I loved Earl Weaver. He was a great manager. St.Louis has lost another one. Earl Sidney Weaver was born August 14, 1930, he died aboard a cruise ship, January 19, 2013 in the Caribbean sea. He was quite a man. One time he mentioned his reliever Don Stanhouse, 'Full-pack.' The amount of cigarettes he smoked when Don pitched.
              RIP Earl.
              Another of Baseball's colorful guys is gone.
