  • They're only peanut butter cookies...

But I made them, and that is rather an interesting accomplishment considering my total lack of skill routinely

Hey, maybe the end of the world IS near Cause if Les can actually bake that's something hehe.

And yes, they were made from scratch although I never grew the wheat nor the chickens that laid the eggs etc

Here's the means to make em

For any interested, here is how to make them.

    1C white sugar
    1C brown sugar
    1C shortening
    1C crunchy peanutbutter
    2C flour
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1C flaked coconut

I mixed all the dry first, added shortening (with bare hands) added eggs, added peanutbutter and gave a good mixing with bare hands (yes messy but efficient).

No greased cookie sheet (I used a black non stick that had tinfoil on it) In a preheated 375 oven for 10-12 minutes, not 13 or 15, ya gots to watch them, and know your own oven.

Made from 1"-1.5" balls mashed down with fork dipped in flour I kept them well spaced apart, as they spread about 1/2" from original shape.

Not sure anyone here actually knows the real me.
    I didn't for a long time either.
