Garlic is great but like some others have said, there is a point when it can overpower otherwise great dishes.

When I make garlic toast I just toast the bread in the oven, then when it's good and golden brown, take it out and rub a fresh clove of garlic on it and slab a little butter on.
Best garlic toast I've ever had, IMHO.

My wife doesn't care too much for garlic, but after 35 years of marriage I'm not going to miss a kiss or two.

Strange, but I have never found "food"-breath to be bad, or offensive.

Now...if someones's breath smells like they ate a dogturd, yes, that's offensive.

So, brush daily, boys and girls. Two or three times, if you can. Floss often, if not daily, weekly, at least twice, maybe more, and see your dentist regularly. Twice a year if you can, at least.

    I'm just sayin'...

    LOVE IT!

It is a well known fact that Garlic is a VERY strong and effective aphrodisiac!

    But don't tell anyone.

Garlic is great stuff. I'm a spice fiend, though, so I wouldn't limit it to garlic. By the time I get done seasoning my fried eggs you get all of the basic food groups. Garlic, onion, cheese, salt, pepper and any other part of the spice rack that looks appetizing at that particular moment.

Some garlic is OK on some occasions, but hard to take much of it.

Luuuuvvv the garlic. One of my key ingredients.

Great on a chicken or pork roast.

    Making spaghetti? Just add garlic.

    Yummm...

Don't some people take garlic capsules for blood pressure? I had an aunt that took it for years...she is still alive and taking her garlic capsules...she just smells a little bit of garlic..comes out of your pores!
