SO, what are your food and libation favorites for the High Holy Day?
For meself, I'm not such a fan of boiled dinners although a lean (red) point cut corned beef goes great with a nice, dark and chewy pumpernickel with some spicy mustard. I'll wash that all down with some Genessee Cream Ale. After that I'll crack open a bottle of Bushmill's and enjoy it neat with a good Dominican cigar.
    Happy St. Patrick's Day, all.

Since we moved to Ireland we (that is me , my better half and the kids) have developed a tradition of going to town watching the parade and then going to the traditional Italian Fish and Chip shop --2 Fresh Cod, 3 smoked Cod and a portion of curry sauce.

I'm already kicking it off with an Odaise Dry Irish Stout from a local craft brewery. Not sure about tomorrow, but I wouldn't mind some fish-n-chips with a Smithwicks on tap.
