Sadly whiskey has never improved my memory, however a fine Powers, Bushmills or Jameson whiskey is always welcome. As for Scotch; Islay is my favourite region.... but have to do further studies...

I like Islay Bowmore, but Speyside is my favorite. I gotta have my Macallan.
If you can't set a good example, be a glaring warning.

            Jameson's Midleton Very Rare...

Or just plain Jameson's, Crown or even Canadian Club Reserve... When I'm drinking whisky rather than bourbon or Jack...

Bourbon can certainly tickle the fancy, any recommendations?

I'm partial to Bulleit and Knob Creek... Although good old Jim Beam is always dependable, particularly Jim Beam Black.

No recommendations for my old teenage years favorite, Fighting Cock?

                      Thanks Doc & Pruitt,
Will see what is available at Cairo Airport Duty Free... In Egypt the local wine and beer is very good, but between my Mrs and I there will be 4 litres to enjoy....

Actually quite good. Similar to a Highland Malt.
