I just moved from Denver and it seemed like Pizza was the #1 food there.

You can't throw a rock in Denver without hitting a Bar, Dispensary or Pizza place.

I took my Dad to a IHOP. Gawd that was a horrible breakfast. Everything was so greasy, I tried to mop the grease up with what seemed to be a non-absorbent napkin.

      Disgusting fare...

        lobstah anyone?

Here in Cow-Hampsha there are a disproportionate number of seafood restaurants relative to the few miles (18) of seacoast that we enjoy. It may have something to do with the fact that fresh maritime ingredients can make it to the farthest reaches of this great state in a matter of mere hours.

When you say BBQ are you talking about long and slow cooked or just something tossed on a grill?

Worse steak I've ever had was off of a charcoal fire in Childress, TX. Worse than one I had in London.

The whole seclection list I consider a joke.

                    Lebanese mezze

I think that in Amman, Jordan, where I currently live
                    Lebanese cuisine is disproportionally popular.

                    No objections from my side.
As you can see even alcohol (wine, arak) is included

Had some traditional Western Pennsylvania foods combined in a new way at the local chain diner this afternoon. Meatlover's skillet with diced potatoes, bell peppers, onions, kielbasi, Italian sausage, and crispy bacon all fried together with a couple dippy eggs on top. It was really good but I wish I hadn't had it for lunch cause I had to get back to work afterwords with a really heavy belly.

No way, the San Gabriel Valley in California is the Mecca of Asian food in North America.

That map in the OP saying Taiwanese food for California is wrong. There are more taco trucks just in San Jose than than there are Taiwanese outlets in the entire state.
