I put it in the 'fridge and had leftover steak instead.

        Batchelor's Cole Slaw:
buy a bucket of the commercial col slaws, which have far too much oil and sugars in them.
Grate an equal bucket of Kohlrabi
Mix the two together. Add seasoning if you wish

          A kohlrabi joust!

All you need is one friend, 2 pots for helmets, 2 pot-lids for shields, and two of those cursed veggies to use as flails.

You are required to pay in vigil to the goddess of Kohlrabi first...
Finely grated, youcan mix it half and half with commercial deli macraroni salads.
a lot of the salads and slaws sold up here are overloaded with sugar, mayonnaise, cooked egg, etc., esp. the Safeway stuff.

Mixing half and half mans up the taste- doubles the quantity.

Actually not bad. Kind of like the heart from a broccoli stalk. I like everything in the cabbage family I've tried so far and this was no exception. I sliced up the first one, nuked it with a little butter, and had it for lunch along side a slab of my wife's tomato pie.
