This thread is dedicated to chocolate - whether favourite brand or a delicious recipe.

I tend to like either really dark or white chocolate, no middle ground for me here . However, my missus arrived back from some foreign country - and brought back the following, hence the inspiration for the post. Its not too dark at 53%, but packs a punch.

It's like...chocolate porn. It's sexy, chocolate porn in desert form!
One of the best books you can have on a coffee table. Haven't tried any of the recipes, but all the photographs that accompany each recipe are absolutely beautiful.

There was a time when I had a better relationship with Blue Bell Rocky Road than I did to the woman I was marred to. Blue Bell was only about two-bucks fifty a half-gallon. After my divorce, that witch cost me something like two-hundred and fifty bucks a pound.

I prefer Black Cherry frozen yogurt or Chocolate Peanut Butter Ripple. Candy however, anything but coconut.

I'm a rare breed, I can't stand the stuff in any of it's guises and its smell is enough to keep my distance

Ahhh yes good taste your wife has....I live to paraphrase Homer Simpson in the "land of chocolate". Well there are two in Europe, Switzerland and Belgium. Of all the rivalries out there this is one fo the nicest. Most European countries have very nice chocolate, Italy, France, Germany but also unexpected places had some nice choccie in the Balkans-Serbia for example. Greece has some as well (ouzo filled among them).

@Pruitt I have seen "diet" chocolate flavoured with artificial sweeteners not sure how good they are though.

                      "...yesssss...my precioussssss..."

Living heah on the shot seacoast we have a Lindt chocolate factory close by. They have a store on premises where you can overindulge if you have the $. I prefer DARKchocolate. Sometimes I'll even make my own using unsweetened Baker's chocolate and get it to just the right amount of bittersweet by adding sugar (brown) to the melted mix. Mmmmmm...

Cadbury makes a pretty decent tasting and affordable dark chocolate bar. I buy them all the time..
