          • Jennie,

When is the last time you looked online? I had thought two of my favorite late 60's/early 70's groups were gone forever. Then I looked a few weeks ago and found there were still cd's out there. They were quite expensive (one was about $75 and the other was maybe $150), but now I own them!

Crow's Greatest Hits and Smith by Smith were worth it to me. My only regret is the Smith album does not have "Born In Boston". They were announcing it as their next "A" side and were quite surprised we were more excited with Ann McCormick doing the "B" side "Baby Its You". You never know what is going to go well...

            • Persey, the three ELO songs I posted were all on the same album as your favorite. I got Discovery for my tenth or eleventh birthday and played it to DEATH!

Tucky, lass, I second the good Doctor in happiness to see you here!

And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for, I give you

They are really good. They have been around since the mid 90's. The two brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson have a famous father in Jim "Luther" Dickinson musician and record producer.

Glad I could help you out.

Now, I've got you and Doc on here and I want your honest opinion on this next piece. I think the end goes on too long, but the rest of it is pretty tight. In my opinion anyway. Whadda ya think?

                      • Quite the party you guys got going in here. In my constant search for the newest bands I like, I found my offering for the pot luck:

Add a little guitar to that mix with John Scofield.

I like this too. Sounds a bit like the Black Keys. BTW, they were really good last week. Here's a link to the setlist from the show. Funny thing, this show was for the opening of the new Microsoft store in San Jose right across from the Apple store.
