    • I'm digging the funniest gal on the net. Whitney Avalon is her name and you should go to youtube and enjoy her songs. Epic voice as well.

A example of her vocal range. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylVQotAI3Ek

      Her being funny.

      Credo quia absurdum.

Quantum mechanics describes nature as absurd from the point of view of common sense. And yet it fully agrees with experiment. So I hope you can accept nature as She is - absurd! - Richard Feynman

I love these 2 songs! I love how Locomotive Breath starts out slooooow and then speeds up.
Did you know that Jethro Tull made it cool using a flute in a band?

Did you know that the band is named after the inventor of the automatic seed drill?

            • Persephone, TA, that is a Roger on both! My English History Professor did bring up the name Jethro Tull. He also did not mention one war in the last 500 years the English have been in! My first time in college I like to wore out an 8 track of Aqualung! Many years later I heard Teacher and I also have that album. My Dell 2400 has an awesome library of songs I downloaded. Many of the cd's I downloaded from have disappeared...

The name of the album is Benefit.

So...how long can your library go without repeating a song?

                    • I've often wondered..."what if Tony Iommi had stayed with Jethro Tull?"

                      • Persephone, I am not sure how many hours I have. I downloaded a number of entire albums and some of only one or two songs. I have a lot of Canned Heat, Dropkick Murphy's, The Outlaws, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Steppenwolf and many more. My tastes run from Blues, Rock, Alternative and I have a Bluegrass album. I burned some cd's for use at work and my own listening on road trips. I downloaded over 20 for BabyGirl to listen to up there.

I recall several other artists using a flute. One of my favorites at the old CYO was "Hitching a Ride". I also love a good harmonica!

                              • I found something a while back that I am listening to a lot lately. A guy from Normal, Illinois named Pokey LaFarge doing "F**ck Me Up". It is catchy and it grows on you.
