  • Who dat!

    Who Dat’ term was
    used in World War II

The term “ Who Dat” was a term used during World War II.
My dad was a pilot on a B-29. They had training flights that were radio silent. The flights were long, and some of the crew got bored and would break the silence.
Someone would say “DAT.” A short time later, someone would say, “WHO DAT.” A short time later, someone would say, “WHO DAT WHO SAY DAT.”
Soon after , the flight leader would say, “RADIO SILENCE!”
Before long, it would start again.
