  • My first 'A' in 7 years!

Received an A for my Master's history course, as well as a 27/28 on my research paper rubric. It seems I didn't put first names first in my footnotes.

However, most of my sources were Japanese, so, in actuality, THEY were correctly presented! I won't quibble. I spent a lot of time and effort on that paper, and if a PhD liked it, it couldn't have been all bad!

It's strange - I took a look at why neither the Japanese or the Chinese want to take steps to know the truth about what happened, and that there is such a wide disparity of victim count and an almost complete lack of verifiable information on it.

I thought I would get torn-up for it, as the instructor is actually the son of Chinese immigrants! He said it was well-researched and thought-provoking!

It's a subject I will track for the rest of my life.

Very cool and certainly not an easy subject.
                  Good job.

Congratulations on the A! Well done! And I'd ask the professor if he could explain if it was proper to treat Japanese names like English names.

Not sure anyone here actually knows the real me.
                      I didn't for a long time either.
