  • Shameless Plug for WTTA

With Shane's help, I'm making some changes in Warfare Through The Ages (WTTA). We are in the process of setting up "subforums" that will make it easier to find threads on

The Age of Muskets - Napoloenic War, American Rev, 7 Years War, etc.

The Wild West - Cowboys, Indians, Mexican War, etc.

The Ancient Era - Romans, Carthaginians, Greeks, etc.

    -and-

The Medieval Era - Knights and Crusaders

Stop by and check it out!

I've gotta admit - especially in games like Civ - it's all good being the first to tool around with tanks and such, but there's a really good feeling when you're the first to come up with Knights and such, and let everyone have it!

Are there any good TB games where it's all Knights and Pikemen, etc?

        Do what?!?!

In Civ, when I get knights, I start crushing my enemies. By the time I get to cavalry, they're on the ropes. Very few of my games ever get to tanks before the world is mine.

Heheheh, you should play at the nasty levels, with all Civs, on a smaller sized map...

I have but after we kicked your a%& in the War of 1812, the French and Indian war game isn't as interesting to play.

If you haven't been to WTTA lately, you're missing all the fun:

                    Million dollar raffles
                    Free cars
                    Lovely women who want YOU!
                    Roman Army tactics
                    Instant winner lottery tickets
                    Billy the Kid
Large screen TVs to give away

All of that, plus great companionship (not as good as a dog, but close) and discussion of war throughout history.

Stop by and see for yourself!

                    JS

PS- On the list, just kidding about everything but Romans and Billy the Kid. There are lots of good discussion topics though!
