The subject came up during the course of another thread, followed by the suggestion I post a link for potential support. I took awhile to think about it, as it was no easy decision. However, anything which will help my wife cope a bit easier.
As some of you may know my wife Tracie was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She had major surgery on October 22nd, resulting in the removal of half of her pancreas, her spleen, and a part of her stomach. The surgeon was optimistic, but she is now in chemo therapy soon to be followed by radiation. In addition she was recently tested for possible bone cancer, and we are awaiting the results.
As a consequence of her insurance twenty percent of all her bills fall back to us. In context of that, Tracie set up a Go Fund Me page. The response has been limited, but then we haven't had any experience with Go Fund Me and have not benefited from any real exposure. Another member of Armchair General suggested I post a link to the page on this website, and I finally decided to do so.
No one is obligated for anything, but anything will be appreciated. As an offering in return, for posting this link here I promise the membership at large to never again, from this moment forward, to post in any of the political discussions held anywhere on the forum. Life is too fragile anyway.
Thank you all for your time.
