  • Tom Cruise in Movie as Dr.Sinister

There's a new movie staring Tom Cruise as Dr. Sinister but I don't have any information on it.

Obviously it's nice to be recognised by Hollywood but Tom is a little short (I'm 6 foot 6) and I'm not really happy with the Scientology connection.

In summary, I'm on the 'phone to my Lawyer. Again.

There are ways to work around that on the screen. For instance, if the supporting actors are selected for low high you don't really have a reference point to see how short he really is. Also, there are other tricks like filming him from low angles so you're looking at his chin from below. This will make him appear taller. Italy's Mussolini who was a dwarf too used a similar and successful upward chin thrust technique to make himself look towering over the audience.

I'm sure with camera angles, shoe lifts and the like Tom will appear to be 6'6" and thus do honor to DocS.

So his religion?? has something to do with him being a bad choice for a role? Seems a bit pretzel logic. To be fair, one would need to apply this same reasoning to aother actors as well. Richard Gere a Buddhist, hence no good for playing Christ? or something? I don't follow.

                            I don't know about that Dr. S.

Dr. Evil had Mini-Me, with Tom Cruise you could have one of yourself.
