  • How do you like your eggs?

It's 7AM Sunday morning, and I'm not motivated to make anything for chow.
But if I was, it would be some eggs.
I have a long day ahead with posting, and watching NFL Football games, and in Richard S's League too.

I like mine with no yolk in an omelete with some ham, cheese, onion, and green peppers.

So far this morning I've played:

    Madden 08
    NHL 08
    FIFA 07
    Tiger Woods 08
    GTR2
Baseball sucks so I don't have any baseball games.

So before the wife gets back from yoga either I'm going for a jog (I missed yesterday) or Tigers heading back out onto the course.

Scrambled in lots of melted butter, with a little garlic powder and some cajun seasoning or some of Emeril's Essence, and then throw a little grated cheddar on it just before it's finished. Any way but scrambled or as an omelet just reminds me that I'm eating a chicken embryo.

Fried, over-easy in huevos rancheros, with nopalitas or on top of New Mexico-style red chile enchiladas.

                    Under the salsa . . .

. . . and between the home fries and the bacon.

Scrambled with onions, mushrooms, and pretty much any sort of left-over meat. Eggs and potatoes are almost the only things I still add salt to.

                      You don't like yolks?
                      Isn't that where vitamins are?
I guess you're right, Rocky guzzled those raw eggs in the blender, and they looked like loogies.
But what about flavor, and the vitamins?

                      Scrambled like my mind.
However, do you use gravy or ketchup or Tabasco Sauce on them?
If you haven't please try them, and I'll rep you.
And then you will rep me, because your eggs will be bursting with flavor.

                      margarine works too.
I think butter is better though.
Do you also, put some milk in there?

                      These eggs sound bomb.
The best eggs so far today.
                      Cajun seasoning really sounds tasty.
It's also nice on baloney sandwiches.

I have thought about the embryo thing too.
You have to block it out somehow.

You mean fried, with an un-runny yolk?
How do you sop up the yolk?

                      How do you do that?
                      Is that a southern thing?

                      Scrambled is nice.
I love to add whatever is available, jellies, jams, syrups, hot sauces.
Don't you like to try different things on the table in restaurants or people's houses?
I forgot pckled eggs as a choice.
                      They taste great too.
                      Don't forget breakfast burritos.
They put scrambled eggs in them.

I like my eggs in all of the ways listed, except raw. I oftentimes make an Italian, oven baked Fritatta, which is basically a deep dish omlette with lots of good stuff in the middle, diced green and red peppers, sweet onions, chopped ham, several kinds of cheese, minced broccoli and whatever else suits my fancy. Almost forgot, you've also got to have some good quality hot sauce on the side..
