  • Anouncement (Picture me tapping my glass with a spoon)

Just thought I would let you guys know that I submitted my Naval ROTC scholarship application last Friday. I just broke the news to my mom, and she seems O.K. about it. My dad has been really supportive (he was in the army for six years), as has my college counselor (who did four years in the Marine Corps). Anyway, I have an interview with the NROTC coordinator tomorrow morning, so I'll tell you all how that goes tomorrow night. I was wondering if any of you had any valuable insight concerning a career in the military or the ROTC process. Also, I want to thank all of you, especially Eric and the other administrators because my interest in the military is in no small part due to ACG and the forums. So, thanks a lot and here's hopin' I get accepted!

A damned fine choice, 'Mr Pluskat'.

Now you'll be IN the invasion, stead of watchin its approach!

But seriously... best of luck, Charles!

Good luck! Army ROTC was some of the best times of my life. Till my back went south and I got discharged from the program.
