It's a good thing they're ending UNMOVICs mandate...

They can't even keep track of, much less, find a WMD they already possessed!

On the Plains of Hesitation lie the blackened bones of countless millions who, at the dawn of victory, sat down to rest-and resting... died. Adlai E. Stevenson

I went to a speach by Gen.Georges Sada the vice commander of the Iraqi air force, and he claims that the WMDs were shipped to syria shortly before the US invaded and I for one believe what he says.

          That's where they were hiding.

Those are merely small lab samples. You need a lot of phosgene to make a WMD, and finding them in the UN doesn't mean much.

"Those are merely small lab samples..."

Denial denial denial. Some people would have these 'small lab samples' oozing through their bedroom windows and still deny that Iraq ever ever ever had any WMD's.

The truth is you have no idea what this means, except that maybe Bush was correct. And it is the idea of that which you can't stand.

              Enough already.

Actually, you're the one who has no idea what this means, Martok, despite your obvious love affair with Bush The Buffoon, whom you mentioned and I didn't. Suck up your personal guilt trip and try to stay professional for a change.

I worked closely with two senior military physicians assigned to Edgewood arsenal to test stuff like this, along with biowarfare agents. They had to work in a P4 laboratory - which knowing all there is to know about CBR warfare you instantly recognize. - and they trained on Ebolaand Q Feverfor 6 months to prepare for the real work in the P4 environmemnt.

Phosgene is not a concentrated killer like Sarin, Soman, Tabun or their mobern equivalents such as GB, GX and GBX; a small drop will not wipe out a crowd of people almost instantly. In fact, it goes all the way back to WWI, which is not exactly a modern component for a WMD.

It's not healthy if you break the vial in the room you are in, unless you can move fast enough to simply run out the door while holding your breath, but it lacks the lethality in such small amounts to decimate a city or even a neighborhood unless you have a relatively large amount of it, and it's a lousy WMD because you can easily smell it and a standard gas mask will defeat it. This is not the gold standard for chem weapons, which ideally are highly lethal in small quantities, odorless, colorless and kill on contact in but a few seconds. Drop a tiny vial of a nerve agent and you won't have time to even think about running for the door, and a microsopic droplet making contact with skin or clothing will kill you on contact. That is a WMD. OTH, if you don't inhale the phosghene on your way out, you're home free. It's purely a pulmonary agent with no contact capability whatsoever.

Don't take my word for it - go find a book titled "A Higher Form Of Killing" and increase your knowledge of something besides insults for a change.
