  • What's your political compass?

There's a lot of talk about politics in this forum, and I'm just curious as to where people stand.

Here's a website that gives a good indication of where people stand on issues:

    http://www.politicalcompass.org/

    For the record, I'm:

    Left/Right: -1.88
    Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.00

    Where are you situated?

(**Note: if this has already been done on the forums, please point me to the post, thanks).

Not lip service, nor obsequious homage to superiors, nor servile observance of forms and customs...the Australian army is proof that individualism is the best and not the worst foundation upon which to build up collective discipline - General Monash

        Thanks for the link.

I read the first thread on the subject, and it's interesting to see that people are scattered all over the map.

It's also interesting to see that many who value individual liberty are in the authoritarian side of the social spectrum.

Probabably to do with what they think is 'liberty' is just another series of catchphrases governments throw at us constantly.
