Yesterday was the birthday of Lewis B. Puller, son of USMC Lt. General Lewis "Chesty" Puller. Lewis Jr. was quite an honerable fellow and I just want to remind folks of his birthday and his life.

No one here can forget his dad.

I took my wife to the Urbanna, Va., Oyster Festival on Friday. When we got there, we opened our free brochure-magazine and found a half-page article on Chesty. It turns out that he retired to that area when he left the USMC and he was the first Grand Marshal for Oyster Festival 50 years ago.

This is the first I've heard of the boy. Thanks for posting it.
