  • I Sent a Letter to Secretary of State!

    Al-Jazeera has a cartoon on the home page of their English-language edition news site which claims there had been three wars where USA attacked its opponents with "chemical and biological weapons": Japan, Afghanistan and Iraq! In the case of Japan they actually said it was "chemical and biological weapons", not nukes.

    I bet the official story in the Arab world now is that Taliban and Saddam would have won except they were gassed and infected by the American bio-chem warfare.

    Follow the link below, go to "Cartoons" on the bottom of the page and play the one featuring the geriatric Unlce Sam inside a Labirynth.

    I got so mad I dispatched an email to Secretary Powell quite by accident; it was supposed to be for Secretary of Defense Rummy. Rummy hates Arabiacs passionately and he mentioned problems like Al-Jazeera in his comments many times, not specifically Al-Jazeera but it was obvious.

    Anyway, the wrong guy will get my email but maybe Powell will forward it to Rummy's email box. I want Rummy to have more anti-Arabiac ammunition in his ammo pouch next time he speaks about their propaganda. He's a little crazy but nevertheless speaks OK.

    Evidently the Nth Koreans have written a much worse history for the USA. I read a newspaper story written by a journalist who had been allowed to visit a museum in Pyongyang, and the displays told how the US had used nukes and poison gas in Europe and exterminated all the communists in Europe.

      Planet Earth is the cancer of the entire Milky Way galaxy. The killer asteroid that might destroy the planet one day and extinguish us together with Arabiacs will be a blessing, I hope it comes sooner than later.

        Well now in all fairness, we lied about the WMDs. So they can too.

        Seriously,

        Misinformation in the Middle East is as rampid as sterotyping in America. If you watch American television you'll likely emerge thinking:

        -Hispanic is a country where all people speaking spanish emerge from to invade our country, and steal jobs;

        -Foriegners do nothing, but help "export America"

        -Europe is a single state dominated who are a bunch of wimps who lost their *alls in WWII and hate us because we still got ours;

        -Demanding the right to bear arms usually means you are a supremacists or somekind of nut who really should not have a gun;

        -Blacks are all gangmembers, drug dealers, and welfare recepients;

        -Arabs are all terrorists;

        -If you are from Pakistan, you own a 7/11 store;

        -Indians were the terrorists of the 1800's who subjected early America to unprovoked aggression, but were defeated; and now must own an Casino;

        Misinformation is often the only information made available by the media. The truth is revealed to those who tirelessly pursue it; and even then they might only be two-thirds right. The Middle East is really no different. Studies indicate those who've attended college rarely favors Islamic radicalism as a form of government. This is despite credits being granted based on the knowledge of theology as well as academics.

        While I believe the level of propoganda in Arabic media is worse, the media is general, and how we evaluate information is often biased.

          Don't forget the Insect story. US dropped infected insects on peace loving Korean people during Korean War.

          It's a fact! A North Korean Fact that is...

          I don't believe it myself but you can be sure millions do.

            In a ironic twist, perhaps the author of this referred to the fact that without the US help in the 80s (remember that Rumsfeld/Hussein happy handshake), Saddam would not have got his biological/chemical weapons as fast (the ones he used against the Kurd)

            As far as using chemical/biological weapons in Afghanistan, that is blatantly false. Aboslutely nobody reported that US forces used such weapons in Afghanistan.

            And for Japan, the guy's counfounding nukes with chems...but both are WMDs.
