Thanks. I got the thing from a dead to running status in like 6 hours. Previous owner thought she was DOA. New distributor, new battery, rebuilt the carb and new points(and adjust both the dwell and timing) + fixed a few wires and she was purring like a kitten.

Scary enough I have to get used to 4 wheel drum brakes. No disc brakes on this boat. I'm thinking of investing in an anchor for my new boat.

I'll have to vouch for this. I had crashed my old '66 bug and took the engine out to replace the engine in a '65 bug that was sitting in the driveway of a house I was renting. I was very proud I had gotten a car running in time for a group road trip down to Big Sur. Well south of Monterey the brake system ran out of hydraulic fluid because of a slow leak in the master cylinder I hadn't checked. No fun having the brake pedal suddenly go to the floor when navigating the windy coast road with the famous cliffs down to the sea.

                  Nice car, Tim!

Better check the sound system first as this is the most important part when driving (at least for me )

which was peacefully working a field near the Soviet-Chinese border.
The harvester returned fire and upon destroying the enemy
                  returned to its home base."

Well the stock radio works but its an AM mono unit. I do have a CD player installed in an underdash mount. I really think the tunes will come last though, just due to cost.

I voted for the interior : two or three short dressed women would be good.
