  • Historical License Plates

Just thought someone might be interested to see what the State of Colorado has cooked up for a license plate. I got two of my vehicles plated with a WW2 commemorative "10 Mountain Division" edition to celebrate that division's origins in the mountains of this state. Just curious if other states have similar programs of recognition?

I've seen the ones with the Purple Heart on them. I've also seen some that say 'Vietnam vet' or 'Gulf War vet.' I've never seen plates with specific units on them like this. Pretty neat.

there was a michigan plate dedicated to the 82 airborne in Michigan for while, but it was dumb because the 82 has nothing to with michigan. But the b-24 plates are vocoo popular here, many people flew or built them in the flint area
