    June 14 1775
    On this day The Continental Congress authorized the enlistment of ten companies of riflemen and accepted responsibility for the existing New England troops and forces requested for the defense of the various points in New York. These act are considered to be the founding of the United States Army now in continuous existence for 241 years of defending the nation.




    June 14 1777

    On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress passed the Flag Resolution which stated: "Resolved, That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation." Which makes today...

    FLAG DAY!!!!
