Worked outside in a T-short all day yesterday, planting the garden and flowers on the front deck. Very nice here in Colorado.

        What's all the fuss about?

I can't really complain - I've been ribbed for weeks about getting central heating put in just in time for summer, and the workmen have been dodging hail all day.

According to the local weather broadcast tonight we've had sunshine, rain, sleet, hail. snow and moderate gales with frost due tonight. Apart from the gales and frost I've seen all the rest so far today. The pheasant that seems to live in my front garden looked miserable. His DNA is probably telling him "you should be where you belong - in the Indian jungle", I'd be tempted to go there myself. Mr. Wordsworth you can keep spring!

Here in the PNW we have things blooming about a month earlier than usual, have four days of record high temps this month, looking towards an earlier and warmer than usual Summer. Farmers have been cutting and baling hay and alfalfa earlier than usual. Spring is well sprung.

All "global warming" and Al Gore's fault of course.

OK, my sympathies. UK is getting smacked with some very unseasonal weather.
