I understand and sympathize. I am just now recovering from the great Blue Bell crisis of '15.
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.

Those things look like the bin full of "cookies" you give some co-worker you really don't like at the office Christmas party...

                  Exactly right ...

... they're "British Cookies"; bland, low-cal, taste like sh*t, betcha can eat just one. By comparison these are "American Cookies", minus the ice cream, cheese, bacon and gravy that usually go on top - yummy!

A Canadian complaining about BACON on something...?!

British biscuits (aka cookies) are like buying a Zagnut bar out of a vending machine at a gas station on an remote interstate highway exit...

... I wasn't complaining, just pointing out some glaring differences in cuisine!

                      Ode to Zagnut!

The long toll of the brave
                        Is not lost in darkness
                        Over the fruitful earth
                        And athwart the seas
Hath passed the light of noble deeds

Tetley has not been right since the 60s when they ratted and started to produce keg bitter. Even worse they actively considered producing a peppermint flavoured beer "to attract the ladies" - heresy or what?
