Questions on every day common manners for your location.

When going in/out of a door and you meet someone comeing the other way is there a rule who should go first?

Were do you place your hand while eatting?

Which hand is for the fork, which for the knife?

Is eatting with ones hands allowed?

I let the person coming in from the elements go first, especially when it's very cold or nasty out. I try to always let ladies go through the door first as well.
Were do you place your hand while eatting?
That one's almost too tempting to pass up...but I will...sort of.
Normally if one hand is not firmply gripping a untensil I leave it on the table or in my lap. It's also fairly circumstantial. When I'm at home with family I am much more relaxed and don't stand on formality like I might at a fancy dinner engagement. I try to avoid those anyhow, at least for the most part.
Which hand is for the fork, which for the knife?
In order to prevent switching I tend to keep my knife in my right hand and my fork in my left.
Is eatting with ones hands allowed?
Sort of circumstantial again. Pizza and fried chicken, hands. Ribeye or porterhouse, utensils. Soup, definitely hands...or a straw.

Left for the fork, right for the knife: it's easier to throw a knife with your right.

Doors, I always hold the door if there's anyone coming.

Knife and fork. Knife in the right fork in the left. Never put your knife down and never sit with your back to the room.

Indian food pizza etc fingers owt else with the scran spanners.

I usually hold the door open for them.

                Usually on the table.

I do it but, IIRC, where you're at, it's a no no.
If you can't set a good example, be a glaring warning.

Usually agreed that men let women go first, and superiors (teachers or bosses) are usually automatically allowed to go first. Other than that not really.

On the silverware while eating, but inbetween making gestures with our hands as we speak, since we are southern europeans

Fork on left, knife on right. I take it in some places there's some flexibility on this? In Portugal, it's pretty much 100% of the people following the rule, regardless of being left or right handed.

                  Overall, no.
But hands can be ok for some appetizers or small snacks before the actual/main meal, not sure what are the accurate terms for this stuff in english.
Other than that, in a family meal it's not unusual to eat with your hands stuff that's harder to handle, since our cuisine isn't shy on hard shelled seafood, and meat still on the bone like barbecued chickens leg. With a lady friend or someone not close to you it would be avoided.

FS do you eat ribs with a K&F?

I don't while they usually give you the hint with the hand wipes.

I grew up in the Tradional American style. Fork, right except to cut the meat, the change back to the right and hand in lap. Since I got to Europe I've adaped the European fork always left knife always right. Heck you can eat faster that way. Of course when your buttering your bread knife right with hand/wrist resting on the table. The beer goes in both hands
