  • Does anyone have any Winter Pictorial information on Tiger1 Tanks.

Hi all I'm new to this site and having a bit of difficulty navigating around I should get used to it sooner of later.
Any way I am looking for some Good pictorial images of Tiger 1 Tanks in winter camouflage for a project I am working on so if any of you have anything I will be very great full. I know there are a few model makers on this site so hopefully they will be able to provide me with some images of Model Tigers, never the less pictures of the real thing canít be beaten unless there colour pictures of course. Well thanks for reading and hope someone can help.
    Kind Regards.
    Andrew.

A couple of these have winter whitewash camo (scroll, one about 1/3 way down, another about 2/3 way down):

and you'll find two or three more here (one in photo near the top, two in profile side drawings further down):

and a different one here, crossing a bridge (scroll down about 3/4 of the way):

As les Brains says, a visit to our modelling forums will likely yield some good results as I am far from being the only 'tank nut' modeller around these parts! Good hunting!

I've posted 6 originals on the similar thread on the Achtung Panzer forum. Sadly I've never seen an original colour one of a Tiger but I've got a couple of PzIII's in whitewash. They seem to vary from brilliant white to very scabby so anything goes within reason.

is my take on Wittmanns SO4

Thanks! 1/16 is a different matter from 1/35. Some of the guys who work at that scale (and smaller) could be brain surgeons. I'm proud of my figures though... they really do need fine work. I started out doing figures to practice my brush work for the tanks... now the tanks are an excuse to show off the figures!
