It's hard to choose between two 'ski, but my vote goes to the King Jan.

            - My friend, first I beat 'em then I'll count 'em

Jan had more influence than Manstein. While Manstein was a very good at WWII strategy he did not have to deal with "Ski's" issues and was only a bit player in a much larger war.

Jan III was king, general, conqueror and liberator. He get the nod in this match up.

Had Hitler turned the Eastern Front over to von Manstein in the early to mid 1943 (and not later changed his mind), World War II history would be very different from what we know today.

                    From Kaptain to King

Jan Sobieski was a brilliant military commander, a great diplomat and a statsman.

I voted for Sobieski because he was more versatile than Manstein.

Is it still too late or can I vote for Manstein?

Times up on the semi-finals! Looks like we are going to have a final battle between Manstein and Adolphus.
