For some odd reason or the other...I have never made any better friends here on ACG than those that were involved in SPQR.

Sure miss Conlin, Delboy, Commodore1812 and Patton...would like to hear from them again!

Too bad we never got far with Young SPQR and SPQR II - Barbarian Dawn. I already had a working plan and alliance in SPQR II. I was surprised how many player approached me with offers of loyalty for "protection" - .

    SPQR was our own GoT!
Game of Thrones has always reminded me of SPQR and vice versa.

And I'm happy to see so many old friends here in the Lamb!

    Bearskins...in 82 AD??????
Isn't that a little too progressive? What shall the Emperor say????

On the other hand: Torienus could make a lot of money and start a new trend...brilliant!!!! The so-called 'Torienus cut' or 'Torienus skin'

Now That is funny! I'm not sure who you are (MarkV) and if you understand what this thread is about, but it's still funny!

In search of justice like an ancient Magnum P.I.,

It was indeed only the saltiest of veteran campaigners who wrestled for power under the great reaches of our empire. Who knew then there would come a day we would look back and marvel at what Fate had delivered upon us? It was a primal, tribal experience, and we are lucky it was captured on this forum for all to behold. If they only knew what terrible deeds we had perpetrated in the shadows...
