You learn things after being on the frontier for 30 decades

Well, in 55 I was captured by the parthians, I was in stockade with a few roman prisoners. The parthian king learned that I, a young and quite famous Calvary officer was in his camp, he gave me a good meal of ostrich legs and caviar(its an eastern thing to be kind to your enamies, big mistake) So I sharpened the ostrich leg, and when teh guard came in to collect my dishes, I shived him, then snuck out, stamped the parthian horses, which set the camp afire and into chaos, then freed teh other roman prisoners, stole teh horses of the kings guard, and rode back to roman lines.

                    Thats a true story.

How do you think a half spanish bastard son of a Miles could rise to the rank of Legatus and Governor of Britannia.

I got lots more war stories for you guys
