    Another easy decision.
    Credo quia absurdum.

Where the **** did that Neptune come from? I don't remember it in any of the previous rounds? Still voting Douglas.

P2 is a good looking aircraft but...C47 is in a different class.

Definitely the C-47 Gooney Bird. It was the definitive transport and paratroop carrier as well as a patrol craft. And I saw two of them take off together just the other day!

It's a bit like the opposite of James Bond, the worlds most secret agent .

If stealth is listed as one of an aircrafts attributes it's an epic fail .

Bit like models of the F-117 being available before it was stated to exist. Because it was so secret, the government had no ability to stop production of the model kits .

same thing happened with the SSB USS George Washington. Models for sale before it was launched. Cool model by the way.

I'd prefer the Dakota over either.

Lockheed should be justly proud of the performance and service record of the Neptune.

In Australia, this aircraft was a vital component of our maritime patrol, and with a huge coatline, we needed quality aircraft. The Neptune and our Orions fit the bill.

Unfortunately, its a little like a shield maiden with a great set of hooters taking on Rollo The Viking.

The "Gooney" continues is uninterrupted march.

You know your aircraft is successful when your enemy copies it bolt for bolt.

Mind you that was before they became the enemy
