      IMHO, both of these aircraft are highly worthy contenders. I can see the "Flying Boxcar" is in front and I'm guessing it's the more likely to win this match. However, the work of some of the smaller "general utility" aircraft types often goes just about unsung so with that thought and its greater numbers I'm voting Bird Dog here.

          One of the more obscure but interesting uses of the C-119 was recovering film dropped from Corona spy satellites.

            This one was tough, but ultimately I chose the Cessna. It's a flying Jeep.
