I like both films but went with Condor since I don't really consider Naverone a spy flick.

Another tough choice but I had to go with the Guns of Navarone. Gregory Peck, WW2, the Greek Islands, and the music did it for this 11 year old at the movies in 1962.

I went with Guns, I never particularly liked Condor, I thought it could have used the 3 extra days of the book.

    Condor!
    Quite a compelling argument and
though I appreciate the other argument that Guns of Navarone is not really a spy movie, it is here.
However both as a story and as a movie 'Navarone' made much more of a lasting impression than Three Days of the Condor.

Both Excellent Films, but I could not stomach the US government being the bad guys in the end of Condor, nor the NY Times being presented as the Good Guys. I am just so sick of Films that want to Hammer the US by formula.

I couldn't vote for the Spy who came in from the Cold for the same reason. It made the British also look like the bad guys.

    Guns for me!
