    Freddy for me.
How can you say Quatre Bras was a defeat, Ney was held that day, what objectives he took was retaken by Wellington's forces at the end of the day, and Ney fell back to Frasnes.
Wellington fell back because the Prussians were beaten at Ligny in superb fashion (as usual), if Wellington had ran for the coast where do you think Blucher would have ended up? just like Jena all over again, running for his life.
Wellington held all day at Waterloo, unlike the Prussians at Jena-Auerstadt. And Ligny, remember that battle against Napoleon on the 16th, 2 days before Waterloo, why did the Prussians not win then. Sure Waterloo was an allied victory.

Voted for Fred. Wellington's good, but Fred doesn't recognize defeat.

Fritz lost a lot of battles, and if Catherine hadn't died, he would have lost the war.

QUATRE BRAS (spelt right) was not a defeat for Wellington, and Wellington would not have fought at Waterloo without Prussian support (it was agreed between them), and as i have said if Wellington had ran, it would have been up with Blucher as well, he would have been running for the Rhine. And if Prussia had won at Ligny in the first place, Wellington would not have to have fought at Waterloo.

Had to go to with Wellington...although he didn't do everything by himself (in Spain he got help from Spaniards and Portugeze and at Waterloo from Prussians !) like Frederick did...
It is a fact that if Catherine the Great hadn't died, Freddy would have surely been toast !!!! Fred, in my opinion get's the name "great" for his enlightened rule and the military innovations he left behind...he was not such a good military as Wellington !!!!
