  • 100 Greatest Generals! [Begins Feb. 1, 2008]

The latest issue of the magazine has a feature describing what we feel are the 100 greatest generals of all time. There are small blurbs for each one...but we felt something more was needed - another campaign of Armchair Attacks!

Since we have so many generals and leaders, we aren't going to try to bracket them all up. Instead, we are going to have 4 groups of 25 and allow you to vote which ones deserve to be in the final group of 32. At the end of voting, the top 32 will fight it out using our regular bracket system, with ribbons awarded to members for participation.

Stay tuned, this should arrive in the next week or so!

Our forefathers died to give us freedom, not free stuff.

Forget about those Chinese and Japanese pretty boys. They are just flashy upstarts with publicity.

Where are the Vietnamese generals? You know we kicked some Chinese generaliship in our time too. Chesty would have been proud

Don't force me to make a list

This contest will begin on Feb 1, so that the magazine has time on the newsstands to get some new people in here. Our hope is that a lot of new faces show up with interest in our contest, and we can get them right into the thick of it!

Thanks for your patience, and see you on the fields of virtual battle soon.

                            Great, can't wait!

Will there be another campaign ribbon for participating?
