  • Syria war: 'Russian' planes bomb targets in Idlib province.

Well Putin just crossed Trumps line in the sand, I hope this doesn't drag us into a shooting war with Russia.,

Russian planes have reportedly bombed rebel-held targets in the Syrian province of Idlib, as government troops mass before an expected offensive.

If confirmed, they would be the first such air strikes there in three weeks.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump warned Syria's Bashar al-Assad against launching a "reckless attack" on Idlib.

But Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov rejected the warning and said the Syrian army was "getting ready" to clear a "cradle of terrorism" there

More here, and please try to be civil one to another in this thread.

Most likely not going to risk a direct military conflict with Russia over this the US will find another way to mess with Russia maybe with more sanctions and or kill some more private Russian mercenaries in Syria.

The good solution would be if 'The International coalition " would join the bombing of Idlib .

So far all that has happened as a response to Russia's actions in Idlib Province is that the US had a live fire exercise in Syria as a warning for Russia to not go any further to cause more Syrians to flee their country.

It's just one-upsmanship. Trump isn't going to go to war over Syria, and Russia can't afford a war with anyone tougher than Syria. Its all just posturing for the hometown press.
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.

That has nothing to with refugees. It's about protecting the base at At Tanf. Maybe the Russians didn't learn their lesson first go ' round.

Itís pretty sure that the US doesnít want another refugee crisis to happen either.
